The Region Productivity Specialist will drive cost out targets across the assigned projects including but not limited to contractual and transactional portfolios, by partnering with Service Managers and GE Ops team. This position will ensure the assigned outages
are optimized by deep diving into: number of resources, shift patterns, tooling, productivity projects, standards versus estimates and actuals, etc. This position will also go to sites during the outages to ensure the best practices and lessons learned and
productivity projects are being implemented with the right support.
Drive cost out targets for contractual and transactional outages by partnering with GE and FieldCore Ops teams.
Establish and implement targets for assigned projects based on technology, site configuration and scope of work and work closely with Service Managers and GE to achieve.
Leverage the standardized packages provided by GE Global Ops to execute outages and industrialize them while ensuring regional best practices and lessons learned are also included.
Review job costs estimates (JCEs) with Service Managers and FieldCore/GE Ops Teams as well as Engineering to ensure best practices and productivity projects are properly implemented.
Analyze and calibrate the projected work scope, resources, hours, and cost against the target for every outage to ensure effective execution within the business targets.
Identify deviations in JCEs versus actuals and work with Service Managers to implement corrective actions
Partner with Global Quality team to conduct deep dive analysis and reviews in support of any RCAs.
Ensure the job costs estimates are reviewed and approved for the Site Compensation Program.
Perform other duties as assignedQualifications/Requirements
6+ years applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge
3+ years of specialized/industry experience
Bachelor’s degree Experience in power generation or technical industry can be substituted for degree and/or project management experience
Demonstrated success leading Productivity or Project Management teams
Knowledge of PS systems and applications
Knowledge of PS outage planning & execution processes
Strong analytical, problem-solving, program management and process skills
Self-starter able to drive results with creativity and simplicity
