Role Summary:

The Channel Programs Leader will manage and enhance existing channel programs, create new go-to market programs for new products, solve for disconnects between programs, and manage program conflicts between the channel partners and the CMS commercial team. Support the performance management of all program participants as well as ensure an effective contracting structure and compliance culture. Performance and compliance is critical to continue to support growth and customer satisfaction.

Essential Responsibilities:

As the Channel Programs Leader, you will:

  • Manage / enhance existing channel programs

  • Develop new channel programs for additional territories

  • Manage conflicts between program partners and distributors and solve for disconnects between programs

  • Be responsible for the roll out of program policies and ensure fast and efficient implementation within the regions by working with the region channel managers

  • Cultivate long-term relationships with program channel partners to support business growth

  • Act as single point of contact for the largest program participants

  • Effectively communicate programs within the organization (channel, commercial, service) as well as the external channel community

  • Manage process for pipeline of additional and replacement program participants, keeping track of all prospects and their status for program application

  • Manage the Compliance process of onboarding new channel partners and renewal of existing channel partners

  • Share standards, best practices and capabilities across the channel team and wider CMS business

  • Provide leadership and mentoring of Area Managers relating to channel management

  • Drive continuous improvement and simplification activities by identifying and solving process gaps

  • Create a culture of highest integrity and compliance within program channel partners

  • Oversee compliance audits of program channel partner

  • Develop and manage program risk profiles

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the chemical water treatment field

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability and willingness to travel within territory, as required

  • Ability and willingness to reside in assigned region, or within customer proximity requirements, as required

  • Ability and willingness to work frequently in an industrial environment requiring use of Personal Safety Equipment and exposure to noise, dust, chemicals and other similar irritants typical of those found in refinery, chemical plants, power plants, manufacturing facilities, etc., as required

  • Ability and willingness to comply with stringent drug testing and background check requirements set by customer safety requirements, as required

  • To the extent that you are applying for a position that requires you to operate a GE owned / leased or rented vehicle for company business, you must be willing to submit to a check of your driving record

Desired Characteristics:

  • Basic Computer Skills including Microsoft Office, and other software programs within a Windows environment

  • Significant and demonstrated experience in complex project management

  • Experience with working through indirect sales channels

  • Direct and/or indirect leadership experience

  • Customer focused mindset with proven ability to respond quickly to internal and external customer needs

  • Ability to energize, develop and build rapport both internally & externally

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in industry related sales, marketing or service

  • Experience in management sales channels of multiple products in flow & project business
