Role Summary:

As part of a headquarters team & with a strong focus on cyber security this position requires the development of reliable, secure, repeatable integration solutions among PLC,data historians, vibration monitoring, analysis systems & ICS/DCSS/CS – using technologies including, but not limited to OPC, Modbus, TCP/IP, & XML. This role also requires leadership, training, mentoring, support for our regional teams to ensure they understand how to deploy best practice & secure integration solutions.

Essential Responsibilities:

In the role of Lead Services Specialist I - Technical Support you will:

  • Install, configure, troubleshoot thin client application solutions

  • Analyze, quantify, and report security vulnerability risks

  • Design and implement secure integration solutions that meet customers’ expectations

  • Measure integration solutions’ effectiveness and performance from customers’ perspective

  • Stay abreast of new technologies and best practices and translate these factors into product solutions and services

  • Provide system integration and digital security support to regional service teams (for applications such as Fleet, SmartSignal, Meridium, and future Predix solutions)

  • Provide commercial and technical support to regional ITO and OTR teams

  • Provide in office support to the Minden Remote Monitoring Center

  • Provide input/ feedback / review to Technology regarding new and existing hardware and software products with a focus on cyber security design and implementation

  • Perform other duties as required Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in IT, Computer Science, Engineering (Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 7 years of experience working with industrial automation systems

  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with industrial automation systemsEligibility Requirements:

  • Travel up to 30% of the time on short notice Desired Characteristics:

  • Strong understanding of DCS, ICSS, SCADA systems communications.

  • Strong understanding of TCP / IP network security and design

  • Strong understanding of the systems development lifecycle

  • Bentley Nevada supplied Server Hardware Expertise (currently HP & Dell)

  • Exceptionally strong customer service mindset

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills

  • Experience in the application and adherence of Industrial, Automation, and Control System Cyber Security standards

  • System Audit Expertise

  • Current knowledge of best practices regarding SCADA implementation and security

  • CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) or GIAC (Global Information Assurance Certification) certified

  • Strong knowledge of Bently Nevada products or other equivalent products utilizing similar communication protocols.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to document, plan and manage programs that further the knowledge, understanding, and capability of the business

  • Experience in System 1 software

  • Six Sigma GB certification or equivalent
