The Apps Domain is looking for a passionate, purposeful leader to join the Americas leadership team and lead the Americas Pursuit Function. The Apps Domain is a key contributor to securing the Azure platform for Microsoft by enabling business transformation through innovation and the magic of software. The DMM Pursuit Lead (PL) is responsible driving a high-quality presales process that ultimately yields client success through first-class delivery execution. The Apps Domain is looking for a leader who can coach great performances and partner with area sales and domain delivery to land successful Digital Transformation projects with our clients. Given that this team leads the effort to scope new Apps projects, the Pursuit function and its leader have a direct impact on domain scorecard performance and profitability as well as achievement of NWS targets.
The Apps Domain DMM PL leads a high-performance team of seasoned Pursuit Leads well versed in sales, delivery management, and software development. The role reports directly to the Americas Apps Time Zone Lead and closely collaborates with other Domain DMM-PLs, Services Practice Leaders, Global Resource Management, Area Services Sales Managers, as well as the Time Zone and WW Apps leadership team. Ultimately the DMM PL is on point to drive an agile, effective deal pursuit process that results in high quality deliveries, effective utilization of domain resources, and adherence to the Apps Delivery Playbook. In addition, the DMM PL is a key contributor to defining the Apps Domain GTM strategy and solution portfolio working closely with the CTO, COE, sales and sales enablement functions.
Our Apps and Services business is transforming and evolving. This function is the connective tissue between sales and delivery. The Apps Domain needs a leader who can keep pace with the aggressive rate of change while being a positive disruptor and contributor to the overall success of our global practice.

20%: Delivery Results through Teamwork: Leverages team to drive opportunities for additional Services delivery through timely and accurate presales support (Scoping, etc.). Reviews Portfolio of deals to ensure deal quality and velocity.
20%: Delivery Management: Leads a consistent rhythm of business that includes the daily intake and review of new pursuit requests, assignment and management of pursuit workload, and review and approval of deals. In addition, gives other domain stakeholders visibility into the delivery pipeline and forecast while also providing insight on the performance of the pursuit function overall (success rate, delivery mix, etc.).
20%: Relationship Management: Leads team to deliver successful solutions/deal proposals & ensures business value whilst maintaining high (internal/external) customer/partner satisfaction. Supports the Domain capacity planning process. Serves as a point of escalation.
10%: Optimizing Business Results: Consistently manages areas of fiscal responsibility, staying within budget, and effectively managing resources. Focuses on Domain profitability & risk management. Achieves & frequently surpasses personal & team goals from quarter to quarter.

Delivers proactive change management plans leading business transformation and evolution through IP reuse and WW offerings.

Work and Education Requirments:
• 5+ years’ experience in related roles (e.g. services sales, services delivery, software development, project management)
• Bachelor’s Degree (B.S./B.A.) or equivalent experience
