          Job Description The Outpatient Coding Specialist is responsible for timely and accurate APC coding and completion of abstraction screens.

          Must establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, providers and the public. Maintain the clinic/patient confidentiality policy. Exhibit outstanding telephone etiquette, the ability to speak clearly and concisely and to follow oral and written instructions. Requires moderate knowledge and understanding of medical terminology.

          Graduate of an accreditedschoolofHealth Information(preferred). Outpatient coding experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
