Gooseneck Implement is excited to advertise for this NEW position of Integrated Solutions / Information Technology Manager. In this role, the successful canddiate will plan, organize, and lead integrated solutions and information technology initiatives for the entire organization. This includes: Oversee the planning and execution of the John Deere FarmSightandtrade; strategy at the dealership. Work closely with internal and external resources to identify customer and market needs and to develop comprehensive value-added services and solutions to address those needs. Oversee all company efforts in the areas of technology-related product/service selection, set-up, support, communications, and data protection. Integrated Solutions Responsibilities: Provides leadership across the organization for precision farming products Develops the strategic direction for the dealership to develop, execute, and deliver solutions Identifies and secures elements required for delivering solutions, and manages the relationship with third party providers (CCA, ASP, etc.) and related John Deere businesses (i.e. John Deere Risk Protection, John Deere Water) Sets goals and identifies precision farming products for mainstreaming AMS at the dealership Manages the adoption of new technology and product offerings Identifies the scope, direction, and business model for offering consulting services to customers Develops and contributes integrated solutions elements of the dealership strategy, marketing, and training plans Manages the dealership alignment with NMQR/John Deere FarmSightandtrade; Certification requirements Ensures that stocking/inventory requirements for solutions enablement are met and act as a liaison with inventory managers as neededInformation Technology Responsibilities: Works with appropriate personnel to establish and adhere to annual IT budget Develops and enforces policies to allow for the most cost-effective use of existing solutions Maintains knowledge of current technology and stay abreast of new technological advancements in order to provide cost effective solutions for the company Safeguards dealership technology systems through items such as acceptable use, password, and network access policies Escalates technology installation and support issues to appropriate dealership, partner, and vendor personnel as appropriate.
