The Bergaila Companies Civil Site Supervisor in Tioga, North Dakota
We are currently seeking a Civil Site Supervisor for a long term contract opportunity with a prominent E&P based in Tioga, ND. A global Operator, our client specializes in the exploration and production of crude oil and natural gas.
The Civil Site Supervisor is primarily responsible for overseeing all field execution of civil construction during the well factory process, while ensuring the field execution of projects adhere t our client's design package, standard workflow processes, safe work practices and standards/rules.
The Civil Site Supervisor is also responsible for:
-Initiate and manage Construction Kick-Off meetings.
-Conduct daily site visits to locations and approval of Work Permits.
-Attend jobsite tailgate meetings, contractor safety meetings, and reviews JSAs on location
-Utilize our behavioral based safety observation tool (TREND) to submit monthly observations
-Ensuring that contractors are scheduling their daily activities according to SPS
-Ensuring that pads and constructed without deviation according to the IFC Design; ensuring that all construction activities are checked for Quality Acceptance- COS Acceptance to Drilling, Facilities, Completions and Operations
-Communicating impacts and design deviations to Project Lead; preliminary review and communication of all changes that could impact cost or schedule
-Leading and scheduling post- job walk-downs and facilitating project handover
-Coordinating cross- functional activities involving the contractor on location; SIMOPs with other groups
-Communicating and coordinating with the Project Lead on any resource constraints on a project
-Working with land owners, state agencies and government personnel, as needed for stipulation & regulatory compliance
-Acting as the first line decision making on Warranty Requests and/or Change Orders
-Ensuring that contractors are following standard processes in an effort to standardize work and result in similar execution an deliver results
-Attending all pre- drilling rig move meetings; coordinating all needed work prior to rig move to ensure route is safe and pad is 100% ready for rig arrival
-Coordinating all activities after drilling rig release in order to hand pad over for flow line install and eventually handover for completion activities
-Coordinating cross- functionally with all disciplines to execute any special projects relating to civil activities and pad maintenance
-High School Diploma or GED
-5+ years of progressive construction management experience and/or supervision of earthwork construction projects
-Ability to interpret engineered designs, specifications, and survey principles
-Ability to develop civil construction scopes for small to medium sized projects
-Ability to manage multiple construction projects at one time
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.); proficiency in adobe and SPS (training will be provided on SPS)
-Ability to review and advise on budgets and change orders
-Ability to work with and landowners and government officials
-Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a regular full-time basis without restrictions
