Job Description:

Mechanical rehabilitation installers will work to inspect, identify, and solve mechanical system problems and failures within water, mechanical and sewer systems using Nu Flow technologies. H.A. Thompson & Sons is the only licensed provider of Nu Flow in the State of North Dakota. Nu Flow technologies provide cost-effective, green re-pipe alternatives and no-dig solutions, for pipe repairs.

Job Duties:

  • Maintain and adhere to Nu Flow’s safety and procedures policy

  • Report deficiencies in safety practices/equipment to the construction/project manager

  • Assist in the installation of materials for water and drain infrastructure rehabilitation

  • Notify construction/project manager of unanticipated field changes and suggest possible alternatives

  • Operate and maintain company vehicles and equipment safely at all times

  • Report vehicle and equipment maintenance requirements to construction/project manager

  • Attend company-sponsored Nu Flow and safety training seminars and educational programs

  • Must be willing to work in a team environment

  • Must be willing to travel


  • High School diploma or equivalent or trade school education

  • Plumbing license preferred

  • Drain cleaning experience a plus

  • 1 - 2 years construction or plumbing experience

  • Must hold a valid Driver's License accompanied by a clean MVR (motor vehicle record) for the past 36 months

  • Job may require in-state and out of state travel with per diem compensation

  • Must be able to successfully pass a drug test and criminal background check

  • Be able to effectively communicate with both customers and fellow employees

  • Must be dependable and demonstrate respectable work ethic

  • Ability to comprehend and follow detailed instructions

  • Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, stand, lift or move heavy objects
