Partial Hospitalization Prog
Provides services using assessment, planning, implementation and evaluating individual patient care in the Partial Hospitalization Program according to policies and procedures, while maintaining standards of the State Nurse Practice Act. All the criteria based duties and standards within this document will be performed according to policies, procedures and guidelines within this document, Partial Hospitalization Program and St. Alexius Medical Center. Education: Nursing degree from an approved School of Nursing.Licensure: License to practice professional nursing in the State of North Dakota Experience: One year preferably in a mental health settingSkills: Working knowledge of basic clinical skills in delivery of patient care. Must be able to communicate, maintain records, and develop reports. Must be able to use a computer, keyboard and telephone.Interpersonal Skills: Good communication skills are necessary because of the constant communication, both oral and written, with patients, families, visitors and medical center staff. Accountable for own conduct. Promotes and supports positive working relationships among staff, between other disciplines, departments, families, visitors, and patients. Maintains confidentialityPhysical Effort: Ability to move light weights. Ability to move freely throughout the medical center. Ability to implement non-violent crisis intervention skillsHours of Work: Days and evenings, depending on program assignment. Variable work hours as need arises. Exemption Status: Non-Exempt/ExemptOther: Limited exposure to blood-borne pathogens. Limited exposure to infectious diseases. Able to perform effectively in emergency and stressful situations.
