The Lower 48 Rockies Business Unit is seeking a Field HSE Lead . Responsibilities may include: Ensuring compliance by developing, implementing, using and promoting systematic processes and associated databases. May include but are not limited to HSE management system procedures, prestart-up safety reviews, job safety analyses, SAP management of change, IMPACT and EMIS Staffing various Incident Command System ("ICS") roles, within training and skill limitations, as needed, and, on a rotational basis, staff the on-call Safety Officer position Liaison with federal, state and local environmental agencies as needed for site inspections, incident reporting, responding to requests for information, etc. Coordinating with business unit Environmental Consultants to ensure compliance tasks are correctly completed within specified timeframes and field data are gathered to meet internal/external reporting requirements Gathering documents, trends and leading indicators to drive safety initiatives Responding to customer and external requests for (HSE) projects Providing project management and implementation guidance for HSE issues Providing guidance and regulatory interpretation as well as assisting with procedure development for a variety of HSE issues Developing and continually expanding regulatory and technical expertise Participating in the development, training and implementation of HSE MS, Level 1 & 2 procedures Encouraging and facilitating HSE information sharing and networking between company HSE functions Effectively networking externally through networking groups and self-development training opportunities Participating in HSE auditing at the Business Unit and Asset levels Coordinating the collection and analyzing of HSE metrics throughout the year Assisting with Business Unit goal setting Proactively supporting and/or leading HSE initiatives that support the business Qualifications: Basic/Required: Legally authorized to work in the United States 3 years of Health, Safety and Environmental related experience Preferred: 5 years industry experience in Exploration and Production Associate's Degree or higher in a Health, Safety or Environmental discipline Previous knowledge of HSE regulations (Federal, State and Local) and HSE Management Systems Previous experience in Production Operations and Well Intervention Proficient (perform the skill with limited assistance) with SAP, Word and Excel Ability to solve a broad range of complex problems Well-developed planning and organizational skills including the ability to work independently, prioritize activities, meet commitments, and proactively manage time and a heavy workload Must work effectively within teams and within diverse work groups Takes ownership of actions and follows through on commitments by holding others accountable and standing up for what's right Delivers results through realistic planning to accomplish goals Listens actively and invites dialogue for shared understanding, then influences and acts to drive performance and achieve results Builds strong relationships based on trust and seeks collaboration across organizational boundaries to achieve goals In order to be considered for this position you must complete the entire application process, which includes answering all prescreening questions and providing your eSignature on or before the requisition closing date of March 22, 2018 .
