The Worldwide Dynamics Global Support Engineering organization is seeking an Executive Business Administrator to provide program and business administrative support to the World Wide Support Engineering Leader and immediate Leadership Team. As an Executive Business Administrator, you will work in close partnership with the Leadership Team and the business management team to provide seamless support. Success in this role means you work successfully under pressure in a fast-paced team environment, and you build and maintain effective working relationships.
Primary responsibilities include:
Coordinate key initiatives and group goals such as: space planning; budget planning; hardware planning; headcount; communications and moral events.
Assist team with administrative projects, arranging domestic and international travel, processing expenses, tracking budgets, planning and logistics for meetings, managing complex calendars, creating purchase orders, on-boarding vendors, processing accruals, manage internal awards nominations, maintain organized storage.
Track action items and task lists to completion and manage multiple data inputs for projects.
Interact with multiple internal organizations within Microsoft, in particular the Customer Service and Support teams; other Redmond based Corporate and Business Groups as well as external customers and vendors.
A successful candidate will have the following qualifications and proven track record:
Minimum of 5 years of administrative experience supporting leadership.
Minimum of 5 years of experience with any of the following: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, OneNote.
Strong Cross Group Collaboration, openness to help others solve problems and find the right answers with consistent “can-do” attitude.
Ability to work effectively under pressure, within short time constraints, and act with appropriate urgency.
Self-directed, motivated and proactive - will work independently and autonomously.
High level of communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to react with appropriate urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround.
Strong planning, organizational and project management skills.
High level of interpersonal skills and organizational agility.
Good judgment in resolving issues, the ability to maintain confidential information and work independently to achieve results with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail are required.
Must have ability to uphold the highest level of integrity and business professionalism and deal with highly sensitive data with utmost confidentiality.
Demonstrated skills in creating and formatting spreadsheets, presentations, and documents required.
Experience with Microsoft Office products is required.
Experience with MS internal tools is preferred but not required.
Interest in ‘stretch’ communications projects
