Job Description Provide information assurance (IA) management services for military classified and un-classified networks. Provide oversight of all aspects of day-to-day operations, ensuring that the security posture is sustained and that the residual level of risk is always at an acceptable level as determined by the 25th Air Force A6. Must be able to implement a government approved viable network security program. In addition, aid site ISSM’s and System Administrators in the daily administration of the unit’s mission secure computer systems. Highly desired Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Science, Engineering, Information Systems or Math or demonstrated practical experience systems engineering/software engineering support required by the Task Order. Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum qualifications may be substituted. Responsibilities may include solving complex network problems, analyzing test data, recommending hardware or software for purchase, identifying areas needing upgraded equipment, testing and evaluating hardware and software to determine efficiency, reliability, and compatibility with existing system. Generally oversees the installation, configuration and maintenance of networked information systems and systems security. Troubleshooting analysis of servers, workstations and associated systems. Document network problems and provides recommendation for solutions. May require A+, Network+, Security +, CISSP (Certified Information System Security Professional) and/or equivalent certifications. Position requires access and use of classified TOP SECRET/SCI/NATO information. Access to Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) is required. A TS/SCI clearance is required.
