POSITION: Sharepoint Developer/Analyst

LOCATION: Fargo, ND

JOB TYPE: Direct Hire - Full Time

SALARY: $60,000 - 77,000/yearly

JOB SUMMARY

Works as part of the IT Applications Team to determine how technology can best be used to enable or enhance business processes with an emphasis in Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint. Facilitates best practices and solutions from SharePoint On-Prem and Online "out of the box" solutions, as well as development within SharePoint. Additionally, collaborates to maintain, review, analyze, modify and support business processes within our digital solutions and support employees on using digital applications. Helps employee-owners drive enhanced customer service by leveraging and supporting the Digital Workplace initiative.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Functions

  • Responsible for developing and supporting SharePoint deployments

  • Ensures best practice operational processes are in place and adhered to including:

  • SharePoint Strategy

  • Provides recommendations on improvements

  • Provides technical analysis on business projects

  • Recommends changes to policy and procedure

  • Drives efficiencies through optimization and automation

  • Collaborates with business, development and other analyst teams to develop solutions using digital solutions, including end user documentation (training) to describe new or enhanced functionality.

  • Collaborates, leads and directs work effort of vendors (both on and offsite).

  • Proactively researches, recommends, and assists in implementation of emerging technologies and/or vendor solutions as they relate to company’s best practices.

  • Effectively communicates the systems processes and procedures to the organization.

  • Communicates best practices across area of responsibility and participates in continuous improvement of IT processes

  • Basic browser troubleshooting common issues.

  • Uses SharePoint Framework to develop business process solutions

  • Maintains intranet and recommend solutions with a Mobile-First mindset

  • Develops and supports all SharePoint and / or content management systems; both internal and externally facing.

  • Configures and supports all add-in and third-party products and services related to SharePoint and other environments.

Non-essential Functions

  • Provides vendor performance feedback and validation of expenditures to IT management

  • Provides input on the development of best practices for the IT organization

  • Assists department staff with technical issues related to the use of our business applications

  • Performs off-hours support as needed.

  • Provides support by assisting Tier 1 when needed and as Tier 2 of the IT Helpdesk

  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or designate.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4 Year STEM Degree or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.

  • Great level of knowledge on Office 365 tool set.

  • Experience with SharePoint development using SharePoint Framework, html, CSS, Java Script, React, AngularJS, TypeScript, Bootstrap or jQuery.

  • Ability to read, write and speak in English required.

  • Expert level knowledge of PC, Windows, Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint), Internet, and Outlook.
