ATTENDANT CARE WORKER - Part-time On-call The Attendent Care worker will provide a safe environment for clients who are assigned to an on-site, non-secure setting. This position will supervise youth and act as the liaison between law enforcement and until the youth can be released to a parent/guardian. The Attendant Care worker will work on-call shifts to ensure availability to law enforcement and youth. This position will also interact with partner agencies including Juvenile Court and Social Services. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIESandndash; Maintain regular contact with clients while in the facility; Provide supervision of clients; Facilitate admission process through completing paperwork and other required check-in procedures; Facilitate release of client to parent/guardian and complete necessary paperwork. Documentation and Record Keeping andndash; Keep and maintain documentation of client information ensuring confidentiality; enter data as needed; produce reports as requested; and complete other paperwork as needed and/or required. Work closely with referring agencies as needed; Interact and communicate with referring agencies including Law Enforcement, Juvenile Court, and Social Services Other andndash; Attend meetings as required and other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS High School Diploma or GED Required Ability to work on-call 24-hour shifts Required Valid Driverandrsquo;s License MENTAL/PHYSICAL DEMANDS Less than 10% travel. Usually normal concentration and deadlines with periodic periods of sustained deadline pressure. Work may involve changing problems, circumstances or demand. Occasional requirement to exert minor physical effort such as regularly lifting and bending. Movements may require pushing, pulling, and/or carrying up to 15 lbs. occasionally or periodically. Work involves minimal risk to personal safety of injury, illness or health problems arising from the environment or the public/clients.
