Job Description

Currently, RGServices is looking to hire an Implementation Engineer to support our Avaya customer. This is a part-time role providing support on various client sites throughout North Dakota, South Dakota, and Minnesota. This role will be critical in supporting our customer’s overarching mission of maintenance of telecom systems.

A Day In the Life:

To help make our customer successful, the chosen candidate can expect to be involved with or responsible for the implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution of Avaya’s TDM and IP solutions for small and large customers. Candidates can expect to:

  • Repair broken Avaya telecommunication systems

  • Install new Avaya telecommunication systems

  • Perform routine maintenance on Avaya telecommunication systems

  • Do adds, moves, and changes to the telephone system

Required Skills

The Implementation Engineer is a non-exempt customer-facing business professional that provides a variety of information directly to customers for their ongoing programs, new initiatives, strategic planning, and measurement/evaluation in one or more of RG's solutions. They possess excellent customer service skills, remain current on industry trends, value team work, and have a wide range of interpersonal skills.

Required Experience

To be successful in this role, all candidates must meet the below qualifications to be considered.

  • Knowledge of Avaya CM 6.x Enterprise and older legacy telecommunication systems

  • Thorough understanding of Avaya’s technical support processes and resources

  • Familiarity with the products and technology curricula available through Avaya University, particularly those leading to Avaya certification exams

  • Willing to travel as required based on client demands
