Keane Group Mechanic in Williston, North Dakota
JOB SUMMARY: Repairs, maintains and installs oil field machinery and equipment, using hand tools and following oral and written work orders. Installs and repairs equipment at sites, observe operations and readjust components as necessary. Plans and performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshoots and test mechanical & electronic equipment according to company policy.
PHYSICAL AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
Frequent lifting (70 pounds)
Frequent bending, twisting and standing
Exposure to outdoor climate, office, warehouse and shop working conditions.
Frequent repetitive leg/arm movement, foot or hand control movement, finger movement-fine dexterity, finger movement-coordination, finger movement-gross movement, hearing-conversation, seeing-near, speaking clearly
Ability to work more than 40 hours in any given week
Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing P/M requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic equipment, conveyor systems and production equipment.
Reading schematics and following diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, manufacturer’s instructions and engineering specifications.
Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoist, cranes and hand and power tools.
Control downtime by information g production workers of routine maintenance; monitoring compliance
Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needs.
Any other duties assigned by supervisor
Five (5) or years’ experience in a maintenance environment or other related field.
Excellent customer service skills
Experience in the Oil and Gas Industry(Preferred)
Ability to Multi-Task
Ability to communicate and comprehend the efforts of others
Ability to think and act quickly
Ability to work in a team environment.
Proficient computer Skills; MS word and excel
Proficient in maintenance software
Extensive knowledge of equipment, equipment ,materials and supplies used in the Drilling operations
Valid Driver’s licenses with acceptable driving record.
Knowledge of DOT Compliance (preferred).
Must be organized and attentive to details in a fast pass working environment.
Ability to champion a company safety culture.
Ability to apply judgment to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions.
Organizational and follow through skills
Computer proficient: Microsoft Word, Excel, etc...
Knowledge of Maintenance software
Knowledge of Hydraulics/Electrical and High pressure specifications and processes.
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Associate Degree or Equivalent work experience
Certification in DOT Regulations( preferred)
